1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a team member, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties, including receiving, sorting, and loading merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and cooperating with colleagues and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and fulfill stock orders for stores.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Suggest process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and report issues.
• Complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficiently organize and execute tasks following company guidelines.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures, communicate effectively, and work in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking in varying temperatures.
