2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week, with a starting wage of up to $22.75 - $28.75 per hour, based on the shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler on the 2nd shift, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Clean and maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communication with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any product quality or safety issues.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and a drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team environment.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
