2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

ALDI is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team. This full-time position offers up to $28.75 per hour and requires 30-35 hours per week. As a warehouse package handler, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling store orders, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and cooperating with peers and warehouse leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock.
• Relocate merchandise as per guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior and teamwork.
• Adapt positively to challenges and change.
• Drive for success and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
