2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores. Our part-time position offers fewer than 30 hours per week, with a starting wage of $25.75 per hour. Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse following handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming deliveries.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to enhance warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform tasks accurately and within company policies.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older. Possess qualities such as conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, efficiency, and organization. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, and work in varying temperatures. Ability to operate powered industrial equipment.
