2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler at Aldi. The average hours are 30-35 per week with starting wages ranging from $22.75 to $28.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 2nd shift begins at 3:00 PM. Different schedules are available, each with specific working days and off days.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform cleaning tasks, inventory counts, and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and maintain warehouse standards.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Independently make decisions within delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and demonstrate conscientious, collaborative, resilient, and success-driven behaviors.
• Ability to interpret policies, communicate effectively, perform basic arithmetic, pay attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and operate industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
