Job Description
We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $22.75 to $28.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 2nd Shift starts at 3:00 PM.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently for order fulfillment.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
- Inspect products and communicate quality or safety concerns.
- Act independently within responsibilities.
- Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, organization, and efficiency.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
- Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Engage in various physical activities such as bending, standing, reaching, etc.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment safely.
