Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a talented Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for effectively planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure the timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for loading/unloading freight safely and efficiently.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign tasks to workers, coordinate work assignments, and provide training and feedback.
• Create a clean, safe working environment and promote safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.
• Support a values-driven culture focused on creativity, integrity, collaboration, and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in service center or transportation field is a plus.
• Supervisory experience and general knowledge of freight handling techniques desired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills.
