Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in store management, overseeing daily activities, enhancing store performance, managing schedules, and supporting team development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to drive operational improvements.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and provide product feedback.
  • Maintain inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Ensure operational customer concerns are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and quality of products.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a retail environment.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong understanding and application of company policies and procedures.
  • Operational and budget management skills.
  • Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment.
