Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join the team at ALDI. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, optimizing store performance, and developing the operational strategy to support the team growth and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to drive operational results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
  • Identify training opportunities for team development and enhanced performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain the store's competitive position.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience in a retail environment, with a minimum of 3 years preferred.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
