Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join the team at ALDI. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, optimizing store performance, and developing the operational strategy to support the team growth and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to drive operational results.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
- Identify training opportunities for team development and enhanced performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain the store's competitive position.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Experience in a retail environment, with a minimum of 3 years preferred.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
