Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store operations, developing action plans, training and supervising staff, ensuring customer service excellence, and maintaining store standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
- Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members.
- Identify and provide training opportunities for staff development.
- Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations.
- Manage inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control.
- Maintain clean store environment and proper stock levels.
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring high-quality customer service.
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of retail management principles.
- Prior retail experience, with management experience preferred.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
