Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join Aldi's team. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store operations, developing action plans, training and supervising staff, ensuring customer service excellence, and maintaining store standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and expectations to team members.
  • Identify and provide training opportunities for staff development.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations.
  • Manage inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control.
  • Maintain clean store environment and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise daily operations, ensuring high-quality customer service.

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and work in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of retail management principles.
  • Prior retail experience, with management experience preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
