Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join the Aldi team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering team development.

Position Type

Full-Time
Average Hours: 38 hours per week
Starting Wage: $25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
• Supervise and communicate job responsibilities and expectations to the team.
• Identify training opportunities for team development.
• Ensure adherence to company strategy and core values.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback.
• Participate in the hiring process.
• Maintain inventory procedures and cash control policies.
• Ensure customer service standards are met.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in interpreting company policies.
• Experience in budgeting and personnel costs.
• Prior retail management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience is a plus.
