Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the store, supervising activities, ensuring store performance, managing schedules, and developing action plans. You will also focus on team development and training to drive growth and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance operational results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team for mutual understanding.
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and suggest adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
• Participate in the interview process for new hires.
• Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Merchandise products effectively to maximize sales.
• Supervise daily operations and address issues as needed.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail, with at least 3 years of progressive experience.
• Prior management experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead a team, provide excellent customer service, and interpret company policies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in operating store equipment and handling sales transactions.
