Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with the day-to-day store activities, supervise the team, manage schedules, and contribute to the overall store performance. Additionally, you will identify training opportunities to support the team's growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to improve operational results.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Understand and communicate company strategy and values for a cohesive team environment.
• Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain a competitive position.
• Provide product feedback and participate in the interviewing process.
• Ensure compliance with inventory, product handling, and cash control policies.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience interpreting and applying company policies.
• Prior management experience preferred.
