Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Retail Supervisor to join the team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supervising store activities, managing schedules, developing action plans, and ensuring the overall performance of the store. You will lead a team to provide exceptional customer service, maintain inventory levels, and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve store performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
• Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
• Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations to stay competitive.
• Participate in the interviewing process and provide feedback on products.
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness standards and proper stock levels.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
• Experience in budget management and personnel supervision.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
• Prior management experience preferred.
