Clinical Development Lead, Solid Tumor Oncology, BTC & GEA

Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Development Lead specializing in Solid Tumor Oncology, particularly in BTC (Biliary Tract Cancer) and GEA (Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma). As a key member of our team, you will oversee the late-stage development and lifecycle management of an essential Oncology asset in these areas. Collaborating across functions, you will drive the Clinical Development strategy, manage a team of Medical Directors and Clinical Scientists, and ensure the progression of the asset through commercialization, focusing on positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Clinical Development in BTC and GEA Oncology.
• Develop and execute global clinical development plans, study design, and regulatory strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless program execution.
• Oversee clinical trial execution, data analysis, risk management, and external collaborations.
• Optimize budget allocation and resource planning for efficient program management.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the clinical development team.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in leading Solid Tumor Oncology asset development through late-stage development and commercialization.
• Experience in leading and developing high-performing clinical development teams.
• Executive presence with strong communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
• MD required; board certification in Oncology preferred; PhD desired.
• Clinical experience in Solid Tumor Oncology, specifically BTC or Gastrointestinal cancers, preferred.
