Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi, one of the fastest-growing retailers in the U.S. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level, working closely with divisional teams to evaluate construction bids and ensure cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Construction Managers on negotiating with contractors.
• Provide detailed bid analysis to divisional teams to facilitate award decisions.
• Monitor and report on quarterly pricing data to support decision-making.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure alignment with project scopes.
• Research alternative construction materials and methods for enhanced cost control.
• Train and develop team members to maintain a high level of workforce professionalism.
• Review and approve contract pricing for execution by divisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and RS Means software.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and specifications.
