Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. As a Cook, you will work closely with the Chef to prepare and cook meals, ensure kitchen cleanliness, maintain food quality, and run the kitchen in the absence of the Chef. This role requires attention to detail, a passion for food preparation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef with food preparation and maintaining food quality and quantity.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
• Run kitchen operations in the absence of the Chef.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; 3+ years of hotel operations experience preferred.
• Strong language skills in English for effective communication.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software programs.
• Physically able to meet the demands of the job.
