Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the team at Aldi. As a crucial member, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a top-notch shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
  • Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
  • Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Safe and proper equipment operation
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Ability to meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is a plus
