Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, stocking shelves, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Type

Full-Time
Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the store management team.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, uphold security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Safely operate equipment and perform cleaning duties.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
