Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team on a full-time basis. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with team members will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and communicating effectively with the team.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues that arise.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and uphold security protocols.
• Follow company policies and procedures diligently while maintaining document security.
• Complete any other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Capable of safely using equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
• Ability to meet cleanliness standards and understand company policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is an advantage.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
