Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our ALDI team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a full-time Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visits.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock levels.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures to uphold security and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Demonstrate prompt and courteous customer service skills.
  • Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties and follow company standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work well independently and within a team environment.
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
  • Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus.
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
