Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your role will be crucial in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Assist customers and ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store issues
  • Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Efficient cash register operation
  • Ability to operate store equipment
  • Experience in retail preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience desirable
  • A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
