Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Assist customers, communicate with team members, and provide feedback to management.
  • Participate in inventory counts, adhere to cash policies, and uphold company procedures.
  • Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Work independently and in a team environment.
  • Stay organized, follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
  • Meet necessary requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is advantageous.
  • A combination of education and experience is accepted.
