Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the store looks its best by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to enhance the customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays
  • Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with store management
  • Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and general issues
  • Adhere to cash policies and procedures, minimizing losses

Qualifications

  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register
  • Aptitude for safely operating equipment and performing general cleaning duties
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
