Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain product displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and issues to management
  • Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and maintain document security

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is an asset
