Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Your focus on delivering exceptional customer service will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational matters.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies.
• Follow security protocols and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Complete assigned tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Proficiency in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Ability to perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Fulfill state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
