Job Description: Customer Service and Stock Specialist

As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the store. From merchandising and stocking products to providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers with their shopping needs.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the store management team.
• Give feedback to management on products, inventory, and overall store operations.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 18 years to be employed at ALDI.
• Proficiency in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Work well independently and within a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask efficiently.
• Satisfy state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
