Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, and contributing to overall store efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus.
  • A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
