Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of the store, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized shopping environment for our valued customers. Working collaboratively with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Monitor inventory levels and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong customer service skills and ability to operate a cash register
- Experience in retail environment preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
