Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies, M.A.P., and Professional Skills
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash policies
  • Follow company policies ensuring document security and confidentiality
  • Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in cash register operations and equipment handling
  • Capable of operating store equipment and cleaning to standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
  • Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
