VP, Late Development Team Lead, Oncology

Job Description

We are looking to hire a Vice President, Late Development Team Lead in the field of Oncology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. This critical role involves leading the Late Development Team (LDT) to establish and execute a global product strategy integrating scientific, clinical, regulatory, and commercial aspects from proof of concept to approval. The position requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance speed, innovation, and regulatory risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional LDT(s) through product strategy and execution process.
• Develop and articulate an integrated product development plan for regulatory approvals.
• Provide strategic guidance to functional matrix teams and ensure team effectiveness.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize product value.

Requirements

• +15 years of global drug development experience in pharma/biotech industry.
• Proven leadership in late-phase drug development, solid tumor oncology, and regulatory submissions.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) required.
