Executive Director, Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Executive Director of Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations to lead our team at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. In this role, you will oversee the execution and delivery of our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline, requiring extensive knowledge of solid tumor clinical development and global clinical operations. You will play a vital role in strategic planning, project cost estimations, and ensuring project goals are achieved on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Direct operational aspects of the late-stage oncology clinical development pipeline.
• Manage clinical research budgets and timelines, providing guidance to development teams.
• Mentor and lead staff members to achieve corporate and project goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 10 years in oncology.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• Deep understanding of clinical research functions, ICH GCPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Business acumen, negotiation skills, and expertise in clinical operations.

Education and Licenses

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Compensation

Base salary range: $256,000-$384,000. Additional benefits include annual bonuses, equity grants, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and flexible paid vacation.
