Float Staff Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Float Staff Nurse to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering expert, evidence-based nursing care to patients and families, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs and develop clinically accurate diagnoses.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care plans to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Provide education on treatment modalities and support patients and families emotionally and psychologically.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and professional nursing practices.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts or New Hampshire.
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year recent RN experience; ambulatory and/or oncology experience a plus.
• Professional nursing certification preferred.
