Float Staff Nurse (no weekends/no holidays)

Job Description

We are looking for a Float Staff Nurse to join our team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a staff nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert, evidence-based nursing care to a complex patient population. Your role will involve assessing patient and family needs, implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses. This position is 100% on site, with a flexible location between DFCI sites in Boston and Chestnut Hill, and offers a schedule of four 10-hour shifts on weekdays with no weekend, evening, or holiday requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert nursing care to patients and families.
• Implement nursing process including assessment, planning, and evaluation.
• Administer medications and perform procedures safely and efficiently.
• Educate patients and families on treatment modalities.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse in Massachusetts with a BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1-year experience as an RN, oncology experience preferred.
• Professional nursing certification desirable.
• BLS certification required.
