Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Greenbelt. As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee the operations at the front desk, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth check-ins, and efficient resolution of guest issues. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain high standards of customer care and satisfaction, making sure that all guests have a memorable experience during their stay.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise front desk team members to ensure outstanding customer care and service.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor, resolving guest issues promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Train and direct front desk staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Handle billing, room allocations, and special guest requests with precision.
  • Participate in setting yield management strategies and marketing programs.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Front Desk Representative or similar role.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Evaluation Criterion

You will be evaluated based on the quality of work, punctuality, guest relations, compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and initiative.

Prerequisites

Previous experience as a Front Desk Representative or Front Desk Cashier, along with supervisory experience, is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Physical Requirement: Standing for long periods and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds may be necessary.

Ethical Behavior: Adherence to Shamin Hotels Code of Ethics is mandatory.

Work Environment: The role involves work in hotel guest rooms and public areas, with some office duties. Evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
