Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will play a key part in store management by supervising day-to-day activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans to support the growth of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results.
- Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members.
- Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
- Communicate company values and create a sense of teamwork among employees.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
- Provide product feedback and recommendations.
- Participate in the store personnel interviewing process.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
- Responsible for store cleanliness, stock levels, and product merchandising.
- Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure high levels of customer service.
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Operational and budget management skills.
- Retail experience and preferably prior management experience.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience is preferred.
