Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will play a key part in store management by supervising day-to-day activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans to support the growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Communicate company values and create a sense of teamwork among employees.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and recommend adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
  • Provide product feedback and recommendations.
  • Participate in the store personnel interviewing process.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Responsible for store cleanliness, stock levels, and product merchandising.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure high levels of customer service.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Operational and budget management skills.
  • Retail experience and preferably prior management experience.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is preferred.
