Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the Aldi team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store activities, leading a team, ensuring operational excellence, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans for improving store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback for strategic adjustments.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies for loss prevention.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels through effective ordering.
  • Supervise daily operations, addressing issues and ensuring high customer service standards.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and personnel management principles.
  • Prior retail management experience preferred.
