Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join the Aldi team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store activities, leading a team, ensuring operational excellence, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans for improving store performance.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback for strategic adjustments.
- Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and cash control policies for loss prevention.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels through effective ordering.
- Supervise daily operations, addressing issues and ensuring high customer service standards.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and personnel management principles.
- Prior retail management experience preferred.
