Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As part of this role, you will assist with managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, developing operational plans, and identifying training opportunities for team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company values and promote a sense of teamwork among employees.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and provide feedback on products and customer needs.
  • Participate in the hiring process and ensure proper inventory and cash management.
  • Supervise team operations and maintain a high level of customer service.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring store cleanliness and organization.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in retail management preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
