Full Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, stocking products, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to safeguard confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness and following company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
