Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service, you will contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Perform cashier duties, stock shelves, maintain merchandise displays, and provide top-notch customer service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and customer issues.
• Assist in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
• Execute general cleaning tasks as required to meet company standards.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow company policies.
• Capability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge.
