Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store operates smoothly and provides exceptional customer service. This position involves merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to create a pleasant shopping environment for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills to fulfill the role requirements.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise displays are organized.
• Assist customers in their shopping experience and provide outstanding customer service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to prevent losses.
• Follow company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years old for employment at ALDI.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of handling and selling alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and local regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• High school diploma preferred, with prior retail experience beneficial.
