Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
  • Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses through proper procedures.
  • Comply with company policies while maintaining document confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties per company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and follow instructions efficiently.
  • Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
  • A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
