Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the efficient operation of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays meticulously
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and communicate effectively with the team
• Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational matters
• Participate in inventory counts, adhere to cash policies, and comply with company procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation
• Able to operate equipment safely and follow cleaning standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is beneficial
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
