Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your exceptional customer service skills and collaborative work ethic will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
• Follow company policies and procedures with a focus on security and confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of meeting company standards for cleaning and policy adherence
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks professionally
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales (if applicable)

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
• Education and experience combination providing equivalent knowledge
