Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and provides exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
  • Conduct inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while upholding security and confidentiality standards.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Capable of operating a cash register accurately.
  • Able to use equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
  • Skilled in general cleaning tasks and maintaining company standards.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and can multitask efficiently.
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience is a plus.
  • A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
