Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join Aldi's team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stock management, cashiering, and ensuring the store's cleanliness. Your role will involve collaborating with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service, enhance the shopping experience, and contribute to the store's overall success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's M.A.P. competencies and professionalism.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies while upholding document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to safely use equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Capable of meeting cleaning standards and interpreting company policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail work experience is advantageous.
• A blend of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
