Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI professional competencies and Mindsets in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Offer superior customer service and assist customers during their shopping journey.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Follow cash handling procedures to prevent losses.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold security standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Proficient in customer service and cash register operation.
• Able to operate equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Capable of fulfilling general cleaning tasks according to standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales is required.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Education and experience combination considered.
