Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of in-store tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the store environment. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with your team, you will contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and ensure neat merchandise displays.
- Assist customers to enhance their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and improvements to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and uphold security and confidentiality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
