Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver top-notch customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Participate in inventory management and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide courteous customer service
• Efficient cash handling skills
• Proficient in operating equipment and performing cleaning tasks
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales (if applicable)

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience desirable
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
