Full-Time Store Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your focus on providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team will contribute to an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store operations to improve performance.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
• Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is beneficial.
• A combination of education and experience is considered.
